Warm hearts, homes, & "Blessings"!

We must wait for God, long, meekly, in the wind and wet, in the thunder and lightening, in the cold and the dark. Wait, and he will come. He never comes to those who do not wait. {Fredrick Faber}
Warm and Happy:) Day!! Oh~ yes~ *This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it!
OK, yes i will confess it has hit!{Brrrrrr!!! }this weather for our area is the coldest that has been in a long, long time! In fact the wind and rain woke me up @ 4 am, this morning! But I have to say~ not complaining for I am not covered up in snow like so many! So I am re~joicing about that!
Happy:) February! already here and came in like a roaring lion! actually I think that is a saying for March! LOL!!!~but on to my thought this morning~ sharing with you whatever you may be going through this little thought I read in my devotional this morning was enlightening to my soul~
{The storm of circumstance may seem to threaten the tiny vessel of my soul, but Jesus is still on board with me, and the echo of His command,"Peace! Be still!" is able to calm not only the storm around me but also the disquiet of my own heart.}
Hope your day is one of ~Warm Hearts,~ Warm Homes,~ and Warm Blessings ~that they will knock your warm socks off! {LOL!}
* GO YOUR WAY....FOR THIS DAY IS HOLY TO OUR LORD; AND DO NOT BE GRIEVED, FOR THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH. Nehemiah 8:10.

I am snuggled in with my kiddos and not going anywhere LOL It isn't suppose to be above freezing until Saturday YIKES!

    Stay warm my friend! Love and Hugs to you!

  4. Well, our temperatures over the weekend
    were in the 60's which is wild for this
    time of year in the mountains. However,
    now it is in the 40's and we have snow
    predicted in a couple of days. I love
    all kinds of weather--even snow.

  5. Yes, this Indiana weather here is freezing and messy but I will wait on the Lord for the growth of the new green sure to come not that far down the road. To see new growth we have to go through the cold and messy times so we can appreciate our blessings even more!

    Keep cozy Nana!

  7. Hey there! :) We're on the south side of that storm..and for once, we're having a "major heat wave." It's 50 degrees today..and I think tomorrow it'll be close to 70, even though it's supposed to be raining--make that pouring! But hey---warmer weather?? What's THAT? :)
    I have a few devotional books and I always enjoy Fredrick Faber's quotes. Thanks for sharing!
