Good Morning~ sharing a serious ~"thought of mine".....

Good Morning!
Hope this finds you doing well. I am back with a few thoughts that have been "whirling" in my head! and when God opens up the flood gates of what HE wants you to hear, I stay there till HE moves me to another place~ and and I just love that about HIM!~ a few weeks ago in my Sunday School class our lessons for the quarter were on "The Lord's Prayer" now for a very long time I have read this prayer, quoted this prayer, have heard it  sung, have heard it recited!  but..in this prayer it says.."Your Will be done"...OK here it is~ Do we really want "HIS WILL" or (our) "WILL"? In our spiritual hearts naturally we want "God's Will", but because of our human nature this causes us to really want "our will." Because of a situation that my family and I are believing God to show up in a BIG way..my heart has been fixed on this thought! I went and talked to my Pastor and even he stated that this is a very hard thing for us to really pray! So just to clarify what I want to say is this....and believe... without a shadow of doubt.....................

OUR FATHER, WHO ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME
THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE, ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN................,

I will leave you with this thought that has me seriously thinking...God teach me!! and help me in my Unbelief!

Have a Happy:) Week~End! and May The God of Peace Rule In Your Hearts:)

*" FOR MY THOUGHTS ARE NOT YOUR THOUGHTS, NEITHER ARE YOUR WAYS MY WAYS," DECLARES THE LORD. Isaiah 55:8 (NIV).

  1. Good morning! How right you are! Praying YOUR WILL be done is the most important part of our prayers sometimes, and yet how hard that is to wrap our heads around that we are in certain situations. But it is ALWAYS the place we want to be. Have a wonderful week-end!

  2. Sweet Blessings to you this fine spring day!
This is a thoughtful post and I think that I drag my feet at times not remembering the goodness of God. I have a tendency to forget how wonderful He is! Terrible fleshly side of me.

Sending my love your way and wishing you well,
    d
