Happy:)~ Tuesday Morning Ladies, This morning I am switching gears in a whole new direction.....!Sometimes this happens and I just wanted to share with you this little Book, several years ago I just stumbled upon, and I bought it, read it and then tucked it away and of course could not find it! I have been looking since I have really got into some UN-organized clutter in my house! But none the less, here it is! It is the most SIMPLE book on "Love and Becoming Real." On the cover it puts it like this~ BECOMING REAL THROUGH GOD'S TRANSFORMING LOVE. And the Rabbit that sits with it, is one that Target had one Christmas for their promotion for the season, and for some reason I fell in Love with the Velveteen Rabbit. ( I actually bought the rabbit for my daughter that year because she wanted it that day we were doing Christmas shopping!), but somewhere I just connected this rabbit with this book! So.......{years}... later here I sit with this book, and have been re-reading it! It is so Heart warming; if you want a very simple approach on God's Love and all the encounters that we as humans go through to become "REAL", get this book!

ReplyDeleteI am sure it is a great book...I love the story of the velveteen rabbit and how love transformed him! I am so amazed that God loves us so much that He takes us dirty and broken and makes us new and restored...the old is gone and the new has come. My how I just put on that old self so many days instead of reaching for the new "clothes" He has given me! Thanks for the reminder Kay!
