How Deep are your "Roots"?

HOW DEEP ARE YOUR ROOTS?

Good Saturday Morning Girls:)! As I was sitting in my car on Thursday waiting for sister to get out of her Dr's. appointment I was looking at the trees that was around the buildings and I just had the thought of the big ones and the smallest ones, and God spoke: Kay think on this: How deep are your roots with me? As I was pondering this thought the scripture came to mind of the one where he talks about the "tree" planted by the waters!

So what does that mean? you ask; As I got my Bible from the back seat I looked up the word "planted' and this is what I found; Jeremiah 17:8 says this: HE WILL BE LIKE A TREE PLANTED BY THE WATER THAT SENDS OUT ITS ROOTS BY THE STREAM. IT DOES NOT FEAR WHEN HEAT COMES; ITS LEAVES ARE ALWAYS GREEN. IT HAS NO WORRIES IN A YEAR OF DROUGHT AND NEVER FAILS TO BEAR FRUIT.

The word planted in Jerimiah 17: 8 could also be translated "transplanted". that means there is Hope for every bush out on the sandy plain. When you are "transplanted', you are lifted out of your present place and replanted in a new location. To be spiritually transplanted, a person must be "born again", (John3:3-7). Your refreshment will be the "living water" that only God provides (John4:10), water that gives "eternal life". (John 4:13-14).

{ If you want to be a tree that lives; your roots must be connected to water!, and that we may "dig in" and become that enormous "deep root" that can truly stand the test of time}!
