It is "Well" with my Soul

I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. Psalms 40:1(NIV).

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, We wait for it patiently. Romans 8:25(NIV).

Good Friday Morning to you!! OK, I am just going to tell you that this subject is what I am supposed to share with you today, because it has come up in various ways since I woke up this morning and that is the "little", "BIG" word "WAIT". I was reading some blogs this morning and one of them just settled in my "spirit" and it was a wonderful explanation of how God just tells us to Wait on Him! There is nothing that can hurry up the Wait! My daughter called on her way to work this morning and the subject came up, her husband is waiting for a call, for a job! He lost his job about 3 months ago and has been searching, went on interview last week, said they would be making their decision this week; still no call yet! I myself am in the wait too, I applied for a part time job a couple of weeks ago, went for interview on Tuesday of this week, she said that she would decide by today! So while we "wait", my Heart says.....to just be in the mode of "It is well with my soul", with just whatever the plan God has for me, (for us)!. Thank you Lord for helping me just to learn to wait for you!, even when our souls sometimes feels a little "anxious". To God Be The Glory!

  1. What a beautiful blog you have! Your heart for the Lord and your family leaps off the screen and touches my heart.

Congrats on the wedding...and on waiting for Him. I know I could use a few lessons in the "waiting room" myself.

    Blessings!
