Good Morning! wow~ I have been MIA! for almost a month! I don't know where this time has taken me~ but once again it has not stopped! and I guess things, stuff, happenings, and just "life" has been busy! but none the less I am going to try and catch up a bit! Hope all is well with you and yours! I have finally got back to painting, and trying to get a lot of "de-cluttering" done, just put that on hold for the holidays and now I do not have an excuse...LOL!! well~ kinda~ it seems when I get started that one or the other of Grands have been sick, and they come stay with me! they all live within a 10 mile radius so Adult children drop them off!! @ Nana's.....but I am thankful that I am able to help!
and live so close~ cause I know that so many grandparent's do not get to see their Grands very often!
So~ on to my thoughts this morning~ and that is Valentines Day?...you know it expresses LOVE! well~ The "Ultimate Love" has Already been shown?...and that of course is the Love of Christ and that no box of candy or a flower can compare to it! ~ was looking @ the love word in my concordance and there was so many verses pertaining to "Love" that it is impossible to understand really how deep it goes!! as, Joyce Meyer put it ..."if we just could really, I mean really...understand this kind of Love...where would it take us?....Oh! that is a thought to ponder; isn't it! but anyway just wanted to say HI! and that may the "LOVE OF CHRIST"...dwell continually.....in our hearts and minds! ........Happy:) Day!!

Good Morning! just sharing today some thoughts that have been with me for the last few days! and you know that when I have a certain thought I just cannot get a way from I have to put it down on paper!! but the other day my son and I were talking and he said "I just feel like I am on a roller coaster"~ I just said ("welcome to life"!)~ but really he has been where I know I have been so many times and I just call it "wondering in the desert". but I do believe living this human life, we are going to be there at one time or the other. but as I shared with him is that "You cannot stay there"! you have to move beyond that feeling and get back on track! (because Satan wants us to "wonder)~ and lose our way!! which brings me to my point!! Isaiah 41:18 says this~ *I WILL OPEN RIVERS IN DESOLATE HEIGHTS, AND FOUNTAINS IN THE MIDST OF THE VALLEYS; I WILL MAKE THE WILDERNESS A POOL OF WATER, AND THE DRY LAND SPRINGS OF WATER.
So with that~ what more do we need to understand that God knows all about where we are at from time to time. I just simply told him to get into the word, whether he feels like it or not and start feasting at "HIS~Table" and~ *OH ,TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD; BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN HIM! Psalm 34:8.

Good Morning! Hope the first 2 wks., of Jan., have been pleasant! for you! I know we have a couple of days yet to officially call it 1/2 over, but it is already moving fast!! (pause)~ time please slow down! (why does it seem to go faster when you get older?)....that's what my dad always said!!...I'm thinking he was so right!! LOL!!................but anyway...holidays are over and still so many things to keep us busy...I have started de~cluttering again, and that keeps getting bigger!! and the painting is still waiting on me to get started again!! have the hall, and 2 bedrooms , and a bath room yet to do! last year I did accomplish 4 rooms of painting!! woo~hoo! for me:)!~ being the procrastinator that I am!! Wanted you all to know that I have been reading but this comment thing has been a problem again!! It just acts up ever so often and I do want you to know that I am reading and enjoying catching up with all of you!! Have a wonderful day~ and "Praise the One" that gives us Life!!

Good Morning~ praise~ & prayer request!!

Good Morning! ~ Girls... hope this finds every one doing well! the Holidays have come and gone and we are in the first week of Jan., 2012! does that not sound so odd! but, as the saying goes it is a new beginning! I am not one to really make "resolutions", but like to reflect on the past year of what has occurred and think I will do better in the coming year, but the blessings have been so overwhelming that it is hard to think of all the things that God has done!! here are a few of the blessings I want to share what God has done for me...celebrated a 40 yr., anniversary, protection over my family, enough to eat every day, a warm home,& protection over a car wreck. These are just a very few that comes to mind, but as I ponder these thoughts ~"Gratefulness" keep coming to my heart! and in the New year there are things that are already on the agenda that we as a family must Trust God for! There is my son's election for "Constable"(in March), and my Granddaughter's health issue, that as I write this, my heart aches for her~ as my daughter and I just really cannot talk about it without crying! but all my heart says...is Trust, Trust, Trust, "GOD!"....for HE knows all about it!! Hannah has been going through "Alapeshia"(I'm sure i did not spell this correctly)...but anyway this is where one loses their hair, my daughter discovered this back in the summer, she has been tested thoroughly, and to no avail, there is not an answer for this problem. but again~ my heart says...God is the only answer!! and I just know that HE can heal this!!, but on Saturday Hannah is scheduled to go to the "Kids Hair Club" in Dallas, Tx., for evaluation to be fitted for a hair piece. but~ I just ask that each of you please lift this up for us and most especially my daughter that God would flood her with Peace that she needs to get through this. Girls~ I look forward to yet another Year of all the Blessings that God has for us~ as we wait on HIM and expect great and mighty things, so that we can testify to bring "HIM" Honor and Praise~ for great things He has done!

Good Afternoon~ hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! from reading and trying to catch up it sounds like you have! I have been really sick this week! have pretty much stayed in bed since Sunday night! I really felt like I had the flu, but went to doctor yesterday he said it was a sinus, ear infections and strep throat! PTL~ I feel better this afternoon!! just trying to get things back to order and decorations put a way! I just made a lasagna and put in oven! that's the only thing I have cooked this week. but just wanted to say Hi!~ and wishing all of you a Happy:) New year! I will be getting it together in a few days and get back on track, and looking forward to visiting with all of you in the coming year:) God is so Good! and I have been so very Blessed!!

a quick post!! and a sweet recipe!!

Good Evening! a quick post to say Hi! and Merry Christmas!! and wanted to share a quick candy recipe with you! I made this~ this morning while I was cleaning house and it is really good and makes a lot!

Crock Pot Candy!
1 box of German cooking chocolate
12 oz.bag of chocolate chips
1 pkg. of white almond bark
16 oz. jar of dry salted peanuts
16 oz. jar of dry un~salted peanuts
place ingredients in crock pot as listed, turn on low put lid on and cook for 3 hrs. (do not stir or lift lid)
when time is up, stir until well blended; you can drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper, or pour into pan and cut it into squares as well! this makes a lot!

PS~about 2 and a half hours I kinda smelled a light burning smell, w/ mine so I just went ahead and stirred it up and it was fine! but recipe said that crock pots heat differently~ btw~ (mine was not burnt!!)

Good Morning! hope this finds you all doing well! We are on countdown to Christmas!! I am trying to figure out this morning kinda where I am at and which direction to go to get it all wrapped up:)~ I usually have most of my packages wrapped and under the tree by this time, but I'm behind! still in closet and trunk of car!! My daughter and I got a big shopping day on Saturday done, and I am almost finished. but anyway on to my thought this morning~ have you ever had someone come into your life that just attaches to your heart?..well that's where I am at! not that I needed anything else to take care of...but this little elderly couple that my son had become involved with a couple of years ago, are the ones that I have attached myself to ~ and to say the least I feel like I am re~living my parents all over again! same ages, same health conditions, same scenario of the "old" stories from their pasts! and they really have no one to care for them~ so I w/son and DIL~ are seeing to their needs! this little couple have been married for 59 yrs., and they do not want the other out of their sight! ever~ oh! my heart aches, to see her in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease and he has bad heart problems...they have a daughter that lives away,and (does not come hardly ever)~ and their son was killed in a motorcycle accident a yr., or so ago! they told me that I had to share Brad (my son) because they have adopted him! as their own! I am so blessed that others love my children as their own! that tells me that they have been "Blessed" with a compassionate heart! ~so today as I prepare the evening meal for my "adopted" extended family that God placed in our hearts and lives I will be as Grateful as I can be, and just know that this purpose was to full~fill a need for some one else! and as I asked the question yesterday on my FB page~ what does Serving Christ mean to you?..........

*Glory to God in the Highest!

Good Morning! wanting to share with you what our County is battling at the present time! this just started on Monday and it is already became national news!! in fact , my Pastor and the Henderson County Judge just was interviewed(this morning) on the Fox4 and Friends news channel in defense of the removal of the "Nativity Scene" that is placed on our courthouse lawn! In short, our County Judge received a letter from a "group" out of Wisconsin stating that our County was in violation of rules of placing this scene on County Property....because of a complaint that they received from a "local citizen" that they were offended by the Nativity Scene!! Well~ this has brought a lot of response from our city, and anger I might add!! but it seems that the NON~BELIEVER~ can just voice their opinion and it is done! Not this time!! ~ because it is time that the CHRISTAN'S need to stand for the" CAUSE OF CHRIST"!! On Saturday Dec.17., there is a rally planned for our County to fight back!! for the Christan Belief!! No~ we do not "worship" the scene~ but we do hold the "Birth of Christ" in the Highest Esteem! and God's word tells us that if we Deny Him on earth then HE will deny us in Heaven!! (that scares me)! so this morning I am again taking God's word very seriously and standing on...ISAIAH 54:17!! THAT NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU WILL PREVAIL....
this scripture has proven itself over and over in situations!! Please lift our County up in Prayer that we will Stand Together! in Unity ~ and that God will be Glorified in this situation!

*NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU WILL PREVAIL, AND YOU WILL REFUTE EVERY TONGUE THAT ACCUSES YOU. THIS IS THE HERITAGE OF THE SERVANTS OF THE LORD, AND THIS IS THEIR VINDICATION FROM ME, DECLARES THE LORD. Isaiah 54:17.

Good Afternoon~ hope you had a good wk~end! We got a taste of our first little winter blast! Started raining late Saturday and we are washed out by the time it stopped this morning! , and temps will be in the 20's and 30's for a few days!, that probally doesn't sound cold to some but with high winds it does have a bite to it! read a blog this morning and she said they have a 2 degree temp!! whoa~ what am I talking about?...LOL!! but it is December, and even here in E. Texas it is supposed to be cold!! I love it!! and with the scorching heat this summer I will not complain!! but anyway I guess you all are in full swing w/ Christmas things as I am ~ I have been trying to leave early and get some shopping done before the crowds swallow me! LOL!!... I am saying that I can tell you I don't do this very well anymore. But have enjoyed Christmas shopping this year so far.... I just stopped for a quick break this Monday afternoon from my house cleaning and washing to say... Hope you all have a very special and Happy:) Week, just enjoying the countdown to" Our Lord and Savior's Birth" ! but we know that we celebrate HIM everyday and I count that all J~O~Y! to Worship HIM every moment, and every second of my being! Good Evening! hope your week has been a good one. Well ~just cannot believe that another year has passed and me an my twin brother will be celebrating our birthday tomorrow! Happy:) Birthday Jessie! It seems that everyone I talk to is in dis~belief that this year is almost gone! but all in all it has been a good year with a few ups and downs we have been so Blessed! and~ with anticipation of the coming year~ May The Lord Bless us all with HIS abundant Grace and Mercy! and you know our times are in HIS hands, and I just want to Trust Him more and more! but anyway have made 2 chicken pot pies today, sent one home w/my son, and was going to send some home w/another son but he was working and just said it would be late. So~will call daughter to see if she wants to pick it up! but anyway raked 4 big piles of leaves today, a couple loads of laundry, folded 3 sets of sheets( that I have just laid to the side) ~ maybe a productive day! Lol!! ~all in a day's work!! Hope you all have a Blessed and Happy:) Thursday:).

Good Evening! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving~ now the pumpkins and the fall stuff is packed away and I have put up the Santa's and Snowmen!! it's moving fast! I did not go shopping today ~stayed home and cleaned, washed, mopped floors, and put away summer clothes and drug out the winter things! needless to say I am very tired, have worked for 3 days straight, preparing for the Holiday~ cooking and cleaning. But the Blessings of being able to do all of that is happy:) tired! anyway just wanted to touch base with you and say HI! and a early Merry Christmas greeting! I'm not sure if I have mentioned the final report on my DIL~ got it on Wednesday, she did have a tonsilectomy a week ago~ but NO CANCER!! We have been so happy to report this good news! and a very special "Thank You" for your prayers! God is so Good! But anyway will close for now~ I'm getting in my chair for some TV, and off to bed soon! Have a great wk~end:)..and~ TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE!

Good Morning, just a quick post to say Thanks for your prayers! Girls~ I just know that we are strenghtened by each others prayers! My DIL Charlotte had her surgery yesterday, and Dr., said that he did not think that cancer was an issue here, (PTL!! again and again!!) ~ but until the biopsy report gets back on Monday!! we will know for sure~ but said her tonsils needed to be out anyway, so onto healing now! Because we serve a God of Healing!!! but anyway now working on finally getting ready for our garage sale on Saturday! (I know..that sounds strange for Nov., but we had to wait until cooler weather!!)..so in the mornings it is really cool!! LOL!! :).... but anyway just wanted to share the wonderful news for Charlotte!! and expecting good news on Monday!! hope you all have a wonderful, happy:) wk~end! ( and just to say... "BE THANKFUL YOUR NOT A TURKEY"...lol!!

Good Morning! hope this finds you doing good! It seems that everyone is busy now that the Holidays are here!~ outside of any other distractions that can just pop up! but anyway~ jumping back to my last post I mentioned my DIL Charlotte, well she has had several conflicting reports on the biopsy that was done on her throat, and she sought a second opinion this week in Tyler Tx., and this doctor feels that a tonsillectomy needs to be done..so that is scheduled for today! I am dreading it for her so much, but I know this is just something else that God is in control of! and I must just let HIM have this as well! We have been so worked up the last couple of weeks over this and that the dreaded "C" word has been talked about! So ~ please pray for a speedy recovery for her!! Thanks so much for every prayer that is sent up!!
but anyway~ yesterday afternoon I put up my Christmas tree up! and decorated!, I usually do this a wk., before Thanksgiving anyway, and just went with it with all the extra stuff that is going on, my grandson was here and I decided that with his help~ of getting it un-boxed and put together was all I was going to do~ but I just started in and got those decorations up as well! I worked on this about 4 hrs., but it's done!! Thanks Kyle for pushing Nana to just get it done!!~woo~hoo!! But anyway wishing you all a wonderful~Joy~filled day as we together join our Hearts in Hope and Prayer!! (:happy:) day!

Good Morning!! {question?}...CAN WE REALLY ABSORB WHAT THAT AMA*ZING GRACE REALLY IS?...my mind is saying that I know I cannot understand how Great it really is?..it's just one of those things that I must accept and believe that it's got me and you covered!! how awesome is that?..just BELIEVE!!:)..I hope you're week has been a good one and I know that we are all staying busy preparing for the Holidays that Thanksgiving is just a couple of weeks away and Christmas is about 6 wks., from now~ I have started my Christmas shopping so maybe I feel like I am getting a little ahead!! maybe?~LOL!! it's been a week of "mixed bag"emotions for us this week, first I wanted to share that my daughter was honored this week @ her school, a few wks., ago I submitted a letter to a Christan Radio Station out of Dallas,TX. telling them why that I thought she should receive teacher of the month?..and all I knew was to tell them about her Character that God gifted her with, and a Heart of Compassion that goes beyond the classroom for "her kids" (as she calls them).. well, I received the call a couple of weeks ago and SHE~Won!!~ so on Monday the Radio Station crew came to her school and presented her w/a plaque, and some awesome prizes!! We have been so Blessed and happy:) over this fun little Surprise!! it truly made for a Happy:) Birthday Week for her as well!! (pause)~ Thank You Lord for Happy:) Surprises!!.. And as for bad stuff ~ yes we are praying for my DIL~for she received bad news yesterday~ over a health issue and we are just trying to process it all!~ if you will please lift this up to our FATHER~ (will share later), but our Hearts are heavy w/this news! But anyway will close for now~ and get onto today's events! May The Lord Bless You Today! w/ J~O~Y that is un~speakable! and full of G~L~O~R~Y!

Good Morning Girls~ finally got these pics downloaded~ this is giving me fits this morning!! but not going to get me!! w/aggravation!! LOL:) but anyway we had our Christmas Table tour @ our church last night~ and here are pics of my table!! Ladies~ I was so "Blessed" to have so many comments on it! ~as I told everyone..it's not about me..IT'S ALL ABOUT HIM,THE LORD OF ALL..and to honor my BFF forever~ Diana! Introducing my table guests are~L-R standing is~ daughter Brandi, sister Linda, myself, and DIL~ Charlotte; as well sitting~ Diana on left and Haven ~ a special friend! this has been so much fun:) and trying to get the right pink has been a challenge! I will be sharing some other pics of different tables in the days to come! (very creative, ones!). Also will be sharing a very exciting event that took place as well this week!! Happy:) Monday Morning!! hope you have had a good wk~end! I gave it my best shot~ to get some un~cluttering done, yes~ again! and Sunday morning I put on a load of wash~ and..I heard this noise that was strange..and my washing machine "passed a way:(!"~~ and would you know it, there is always a load of clothes that are "sitting still" in there; when it just stopped in mid~ cycle!! So~ when I got home from church guess what I had to do?...yeah~ it reminded me when ladies had to wash the laundry by hand and ring "each piece" out by hand!! Whoa ~ I bet that took a long time!! for I thought that there was not going to ever be the last "piece"... but I reached in, swirled the water and I did get it done! Now I have to dip the water out~ ...oh! it does make me so "GRATEFUL" that I am able go buy a new one today! How~ever I did not get to the de~cluttering of the utiity room as well, I have to do this before they bring the new one out!! ~so how did you like my story?... just another thing that does happen especially when that one was probally (about 25 yrs., old). I'm thinking it was tired!!:)) LOL! ...but anyway just wanted to share just a little 'event" that I'm working on to get done so I can get back to the DE~ Cluttering of a couple of rooms that are calling my name! before the Holidays set in!! I know I can do It!! happy:) day~ to all of you and if the un-expected things happen~ just set down and Thank God for HIS Blessings!!

Good Monday Morning! again!~ Hope you had a wonderful week~end! I went to Hannah's last Fall Ball ~baseball game! She did great! and they won her 2 last games! Really so cute watching those little girls:)..after the game I took my grandson Kyle on to Tyler to get his jeans for the winter, and also a jacket that he seemed he could not live without! (ps~ that jacket was not in the budget~ Kyle!)! LOL!!~ made a quick stop @ Sams, and then Kyle and I had a dinner date!! We went to Red Lobster to eat dinner~ it was so good! just happen to hit it at a good time, food was so fresh, shrimp was delightful! and then we were on our way home! tired and full!! Kyle stayed the night with his grandparents~ we watched the Rangers game, and off to bed! Sunday morning we attended church~ All in all~ I can say that we had a delightful wk~end~ BTW~ I did miss telling you that on the way to Tyler Kyle and I just talked about some Godly things and that just makes this Nana so happy:) and you know what?...he just made me stop and think..that we best be up on our Spiritual Stuff because those 13 yr. olds can surprise you with those questions!! LOL!! I do count it all JOY~ to be able to just talk w/ my GRANDS~ about the Godly things!! Hope you have a wonderful~ Joy~Filled~ Week:)

Good Morning Ladies~ wow~ it's already Friday! Praying that you have had a very good week! This morning I am sending you a flower, planting you a tree ~ and sending my Love and Support to all the "Cancer Survivors" as well as the ones that are in the Battle! girls ~ it seems that almost in every conversation there is somebody that has or is going through this experience! I just know if we run out of things to pray over, we've got this that we can pray for! Also sharing~ I received my letter yesterday confirming that my mammogram was clear! I just paused @ the mailbox and whispered ~A Great "BIG" Thank You to God for a Good Report!! There is just nothing like Peace! So today~ I lift up my sisters in Christ to the Awesome God that we serve asking for the ~Peace that Passes Understanding~ in Your Hearts and Minds that whoever you are Praying for, Standing With, and Supporting with Your Prayers that God will show UP~ and Deliver HIS Power~ Mercy and Strength to keep on , keeping on to "Pray without Ceasing"~ for the Battle of our Friends, and Family!!

Good Morning~ just a quick note that" we here in Texas" are all wrapped up in Baseball! We are now watching the Championship series! And of course the Texas Rangers is the one we are rooting for! Sadly:( to say they lost in the first game of the world series, but there is always tonight!! but ~ maybe they will swing the bat a little harder into to night's game! You know sometimes we just need to have some thing that we enjoy to make life fun:)!! kinda brings that excitement to another day! Good Morning! beginning my thoughts with Praise! I woke up feeling much better! I was so tired yesterday~ just kinda bombed out! but I am on a mission~ for today... like laundry, vacuum, bed changing, clean bathrooms...I think you get it!! LOL! :)..but so very Thankful:) for God's strength! I cannot live without HIS strength, and HIS energy that He pours into me. On another thought that again it seems that there is so many that are going through a lot of stuff, just thinking on my end of the world, there is my BIL~ that had a heart attack (a couple of weeks ago) had bypass surgery, and has had some complications, my SIL~ that is having a second surgery today~ in regards to her cancer, church friends, family, and just friends of friends that have requested prayer! and that is a call to action! We must stand in the G~A~P~ for each other! and I count it a great JOY~ to know that if anything I can PRAY! Good Morning Girls~ OK~ it is hard for me to admit but I am so very tired this morning! It seems about once a week I just wake up and feel kinda crashed out! just been glued to my recliner most of the morning sneaking in that nap! it is about 11:30 and I finally pulled myself out of the chair and have been up about an hour, got the dishwasher loaded , counters cleaned, making a custard pie, and put on chicken for a pot of chicken and dumplings!! I found a recipe for a custard pie that you just dump ingredients in a bowl and put in oven! I love custard pies:) will let you know the outcome...but anyway yesterday I took my Sis to Tyler to get a small surgical procedure done, had my mammogram scheduled, and also had a fabulous lunch w/ my brother, SIL and a former SIL. My sister and I really enjoyed meeting up with them. so~ really for 3 days now I have really left early and gone all day, I'm guessing my "fuel" is running low! LOL:)))....I had another root canal done this week as well! but Praise God it has been nothing like that last one a couple of months ago. But on to my thoughts..it is time already to have our "Christmas Table Tour" @ my church... on Nov.7, so I have been busy getting my decorations ready for that..I am so excited..I am going to decorate my table in the "PINK"~ in Support of really any kind of cancer! and "Support" of my friend Diana, and my SIL Tina, BTW~ (her diagnosis is "Spindle Cell Melanoma)"~ Tina in fact is going to have a second surgery this Friday! Please lift her up!) Well I gotta get busy, go check my pie and chicken! Hope you all have a Happy:) and Awesome Afternoon! ~ after all it is a beautiful "Fall" day, the acorns are falling here at my house!! May God's "Best Blessings"~ Fall on YOU today:))

Good Morning! Happy:) day! yes we are challenged to be Happy:), Joyful, Content, Peaceful, Quiet, Confident, and to Enjoy~ our Life!! It is not a competition with anyone or anything! and I am convinced that a competitive life will make one tired!! In John chapter 16, v. 33 God tells us this...

*THESE THINGS I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU, THAT IN ME YOU MAY HAVE PEACE. IN THE WORLD YOU WILL HAVE TRIBULATION ; BUT BE OF GOOD CHEER, I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.

I watch people that are in "competition" with another and I just think wow~ it takes a lot of energy to keep up~ with some one else in the game of life! (so to speak).. why? do we strive to do this...maybe it is a lack of knowledge in the word, maybe not feeling good about ourselves, maybe just wanting to fit in?..but God says we are an individual and we must seek HIM for our own "personal identification". I do know that when we accept Christ we do this one on one, there is not another that can do this for us, it must be standing alone and making that decision that you will change one's life! In my children's growing up years we as parents often heard the statement...Why?..can't I do this or that..or go here or there?...every one else is doing it.. I just always said first "you" are not everyone else, and second if they jumped off the highest bridge would you jump to?.... So~ today just think on this thought.....that "I" was created for HIS Pleasure not for any one else or for any thing else!! Psalm 145:5 says this..

Good Morning!! & Happy:) October already!!~ hope your week~end has been a good one! I am loving this weather, we are cooling down a bit! Cool mornings and pleasant afternoons! Still praying for rain!! ..But~ anyway just sharing my support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Ladies~ my heart is so drawn to this cause~ MY BFF~ Diana has been through a horrific year~ she is now started her 37 radiation treatments! and now my sweet SIL~ Tina is about to begin her journey to battle her very rare form of Cancer.
While out shopping this past week, I have noticed that so many products claim to donate, if you buy the product, I just Hope and Pray that they stand behind their promise! and with so many things out their we all at one time or the other use that product! So what~ever you buy "w/ the pink" we all can support the Susan G. Komen Foundation!! But anyway, just sharing my thoughts on the subject of the dreaded word~ "cancer"! But........"WE SERVE A GOD THAT IS MUCH BIGGER THAN CANCER!!" don't we! and HE is a Healing God and I choose to believe that! so~ these precious girls of mine I will pray the prayer of Strength, Faith, and Healing! that only can come from God! Have a wonderful~ glory~ filled~ Sunday!~ Praising the "ONE" that gives us LIFE!

Good Morning Ladies~ well it appears that we are all in full swing of the " fall season"! just love to look at every one's beautiful decorations that are being displayed! Just kinda gives you a happy:) feeling! (now if our E. Texas weather will just get with it~ and just stay cool!!) LOL!! but anyway still have not lost that HOPE!! I know it will get here, in fact tomorrow they are talking "cold front?" for us ~ upper 80's!! woo~hoo!! girls, there is a couple of things that is really on my heart~ and I am asking you to pray, BTW~ I am feeling better, and just going to keep trusting and believing that this little health issue is being taking care of moment by moment by Our Lord Jesus! now~ asking for my Hannah~ still~ what we are dealing with is that a few months ago, daughter Brandi was brushing her hair and noticed a bald spot on the side of her head, which totally absorbed Brandi with a fear that was UN~explainable! she took her immediately to her pedi~ and yes the dreaded word.."Allapecia" (pro bally mis~spelled it)~this is a condition where the hair falls out)~came up!! and to top it all off Brandi and I have not been able to just talk about it!! Because we just cry!! so I am asking for whatever God gives you to pray over "Hannah" to please lift this up!! for us! We will be seeing a dermatologist in a couple of weeks!! Thanks again for every prayer uttered for us!! I just so "Love You" and the awesome closeness that I feel when I think of you!!

Good Morning! this is just a quick review of my thoughts this morning! You know as each day comes and goes we must maintain our directions to stay on the course of each hour that is given to us; to make it worthwhile that at the end of each day we feel like we have accomplished something that is worthwhile?..I hope that makes sense! but just saying is that when we have a day ~ as I call it..just going around in circles, wearing ourselves out..just does not make sense to me! As this thought came to me I'm guessing this is how the "wilderness" felt!! that the people just wore themselves out going around the same mountain over and over..because they just could not focus on the promises of God! But to say that there is great lesson here is for our benefit..just TRUST ME! even when Life does not make sense! Yesterday morning in our B/Moore study on Revelation..(wow~this is a wonderful study).. there were questions raised that really not anyone could answer, and it just spoke to me..When you just cannot get a satisfying answer the "Holy Spirit" moves in and says...JUST TRUST ME FOR THE OUTCOME!! do not try to reason and figure it out!! for this makes one tired!! After all...God said when "I "go away you will not be left comfortless, I am leaving you with all that You need when life does not make sense~ and that is the HOLY SPIRIT! (my words).. but you know the scripture!).
OK~ this was a message that just came, was not sure where my thoughts were going.. but here they are on the page!!.. Maybe some one needed this!! but I know I have to be reminded often that our Saviour is so close and all we need is to depend on the comfort that "HE" left us..to soak up ever second of the reminder is that the "HOLY SPIRIT" is just a prayer away~indwelling deep with in us to just know that HE is with us even when we just cannot get it!! (don't you just love that!! ). THANK YOU LORD FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT..just one more thing I cannot live without!!

Good Morning! OK~ week~end rushed by! but I did get accomplished a couple of the things that I set out to do! Well~ almost ~ one of the tasks, which was to finish painting one of my bed rooms is not quiet done!! because I ran out of paint! ooh!! that made me a little aggravated! so..have to make a run to Lowe's this week..which is about a 20 mile run!! but I will get it finished this week!! also got my freezer defrosted and cleaned! so I do feel better when some things get done that have been put off! So what did you do this wk~end?.. anyway~ God is so good! and I am so very Blessed, just to say is that~ Praise God ~I have been feeling better! I have a doctor's appt., this week and after talking with a couple of my nurse friends this week I feel better about the decision I was going to discuss with him, so that has changed..and we are going to talk about another option!! I just love how God works and often it is not even what you think, because I truly believe that God sends people to you that you need for that moment!! (pause)~ thank you Lord!! for my friends!! Well~ I will run this morning; gotta get my trash out, do a few things before I get ready to attend my Monday Morning Bible Study w/ Beth Moore!! (Yea!!).~ but hope this finds you all doing good and enjoying the Blessings of God! and I know that you are~ but on to say ..thoughts from my church office this morning~ (I am filling in for our Sec.) today! I was looking over all the prayer requests that have come in from week to week, and all the needs that have been requested. And just on our Prayer lists I counted 15 people that have some form of Cancer!! This just breaks my Heart, and makes me more all the GRATEFUL for my health ~ and after seeing all these names listed, I thought ...do not complain...about any thing; and I mean anything!! You know we just have to embrace the Love of God so tight ~ that HE keeps us secure in His promises and that He knows all about each and every one on that lists, and He is not over looking one of these! NOT ONE! Praise God I have been feeling better.. and still "believing" that this health concern for me is going to get better and better!! (pause)..Thank You Lord in advance for answered Prayer!! Hope you all have a happy:) and blessed day!

Good Morning! just sharing my thoughts that have been on my heart for the last 3 days! It is a simple word~ "WISDOM". I was talking to my DIL about this and that~ and I made a statement using the word wisdom! I always hope that I have enough to share the truth; she commented that she hopes that God will give her enough to endure the little trials that come up, and it quickly came to me is that we are already e~quipped with it!~ just have to exercise it! And.... we have it due to the fact of our Maturity, we are at different levels in our knowledge. I looked up the word wisdom and here is what I read ...knowledge and good judgement based on experience; being wise; scholarly knowledge; wise conduct ; and wise words.
Then it came to me again that God has something to say about WISDOM...*JESUS GREW IN WISDOM AND STATURE, AND IN FAVOR WITH GOD AND MEN.( Luke 2:52).
I just loved that! So wrapped up conversation w/ DIL and just simply told her that we have to ask God for it! Day~ by~ Day...we GROW in Wisdom!!

I have not been feeling well for a few weeks now, and I have had to just stop and rest a little more! but as I stated to a friend of mine this morning is that I know God is going to fix this little health issue of mine!! Whoo~hoo!! Thank You Jesus:)...I will give you all the Praise!! But anyway started a new Bible Study this morning and Beth Moore did it again...she is so gifted! the study is on Revelation..never had a opportunity to do one on this book, but it is going to be the "meat of the word"..and sometimes we have to lay the "milk" down~ and chew, chew, & chew!!! LOL! title~ is (Here and Now~ There and Then).... thought from my notes that she shared is 1)..HE LOVES US~ 2).. HE FREED US~ 3).. HE MADE US! ~ and that we just cannot live a minute without HIM!!!! and the study of God's word helps to "activate" our Faith!( that I fall short of~ a lot! (ouch!)... My grandson Kyle is home~ from hospital, he had the colonoscopy yesterday and Doctor came out and told us that Kyle has no Chromes, and he did not show any signs of Uulcerated Colitus!! , he has had a severe infection of the colon but that was already partially healed up!! Whoo~ Yoo~ Thank You Father for your healing!! The doctor just said ~UH... just knew from all reports that this child had one or the other~ why can't they just say....? God is Good!!!! but anyway again Thank You for being a part of this good report! I truly believe that GOD~ANSWERS~ PRAYER!! Hope you have a happy:) Wednesday ~ and~ MAY GOD SMILE:)~ DOWN ON YOU TODAY!

Good Evening Friends ~ hope you all have enjoyed your holiday week~end! I just finished making hamburgers, baked beans, had chips and a cheese cake for dessert! We have been eating in shifts all week -end! We have had a stressful holiday! to say the least! My grandson Kyle has been in the hospital since Friday, probably want get out until Wednesday. This boy has been really sick, I think diagnosis has come down to acute chronic ulcerated colitis! This just kinda came from out of no where! So~ all of us have been there around the clock, He was finally feeling better late yesterday and today they started the prep for the colonoscopy that will be done tomorrow about noon~ and he started spiraling down once the "stuff" that you have to drink (yuck)!! got started. So he asked for pain meds. again! So~ just praying that he got down the second cup around 6 pm. I haven't talked to my son yet! He will be here to eat shortly. So that's been my wk~end! thus far, but to say all of this is that my Heart is just saying that schedules, holidays, and events just sometimes cannot happen due to the interruptions that pops up in your life! and that's OK~ because Our God is to be Praised no matter what may happen! It is called life, and we just have to TRUST and stay connected to the one that is in Control! Hope you all have a wonderful week! Any and all Prayers are received with Gratefulness!

Good Afternoon~ It's almost , so close~ for those Fall decorations! Now if the weather will cool off, we are set to go with it!! Next week sounds wonderful for some much needed cooler weather!! for E.Texas. Whoo~Yoo!! Like so close I can taste It:))) LOL! Hope this finds all of you doing well. My thoughts are going this way and that this day~ kinda like I just don't know where my emotions are going to settle! I'm having some Health Issues, that is bugging me crazy!! My daughter is having some issues that seriously need some prayer, not health but in another area! I just told her a bit a go that we will "REIGN DOWN" JEREMIAH 29:11 OVER HER! and ~yesterday afternoon got word that my sweet little S~I~L~ has been diagnosed with a very rare form of Cancer and needs treatment ASAP! and medically speaking was told that life exspectancy with type of cancer is about 5 yrs. What?....in the World!....ok~ what do we do? Ladies all I can come up with is Talk to the Father, sometimes when I get here..all I can do is recite The Lord's Prayer~ OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN......and that's where I am at! So for today just hear my Hearts Cry and to remind you and me that LIFE is so Short and we must make every day Count no matter where You find yourself . Praying for all of you that you have a Fun and Safe Holiday Wk~end!! Praise the One That Gives Us Life!;))).

The next thought as I was scrolling my pics was this...do you ever feel like you are in a"Bubble"?...I think at one time or the other we all do. I think circumstances, un~expected things that happen, when we have a bad day, etc.
As we roll around in our "bubble" I think it causes us to look back and bring up the past, worry about the future, and lose sight of the "now". But....the Promises of God helps us to roll to safety! So when the "Bubble" starts to roll faster and faster.. STOP!! and REST!! in HIS LOVE! just simply HIS LOVE!

Good Morning! wow~ fast moving wk~end! We celebrated my middle son's Birthday yesterday! Bryan was 36!, that's another WOW! because when your children have birthdays that means we have another one as well! , but as the saying goes You're only as "old" as you feel~ RIGHT?...lol! but anyway going to share my thoughts with you this morning, with thoughts from yesterdays message that really came down in my spirit! Pastor, spoke on Luke Ch.6, v's 27-39! all I can say is that "I" have a lot of work to do, only to realize that "MY" human state is constantly saying to me~ is that I know you know~ what to do~ how to act~ how to speak,~ how to watch yourself~ how to keep attitude in check~ how to study more~etc., but why do I not stay consistent?..well ... really don't have an answer for it... do we?... But ~ God's Word clarified to me this morning is that HE ALREADY KNEW WE WOULD MESS UP!..WHOA~ LISTEN TO WHAT GOD SAID ~
*ANY ONE, THEN, WHO KNOWS THE GOOD HE OUGHT TO DO , AND DOESN'T DO IT, SINS. {James 4:17}.
OK~ there I have it! just to say that I cannot JUSTIFY Sin, just because I am HUMAN! but He already knew that I was going to Sin!! I just Love when God Speaks to me personally, because it pushes me to give it my best shot to just do better... Not in the least trying to be a "downer" this morning, I just wanted to share that "GOD'S WORD" is the final Answer! ~ what Glorious thoughts to know that I want to be everything that He wants me to be, in all that I say and do! We received and Welcomed His Glorious Blessing of some rain last night!! As I did my walk this morning the refreshing smell of rain and a cooler feel was so exciting! Good Morning! OK~we are the middle of the week already! Every one is in school and doing well! I have been trying to get to the things that I have just left un~done for the summer! and yes~ it seems that with each task that I laid aside appears to be larger!! but making progress hopefully! We here in E. Texas are still praying for rain, it just appears that we can get no relief from this heat. With each forecast that weather man just says for the next 10 days......., so I am not giving up on the fact and truth that God knows just what we need!! and He will deliver! But anyway~ hope all is well with you and your back to school is off to a great start! It really seems that my Grands., were excited for school to start, they were so bored, since basically they have been in the house most of the summer! Oh~ I did want to say that my Granddaughter has been doing much better and the MRI was OK! See how Good God is! He just takes care of us!, she has not experienced a panic attack in over a week. Nothing takes God by Surprise! HE does not run on calendar time, He does not operate on clock time! He does not PANIC over OUR circumstances! He sits encircling the Earth, watching to and fro!! Is that not exciting! that HE is watching! HE never takes HIS eyes off of us! So today ~ let us just REST in HIS Promises of HIS Care! and~to say that We do not have to "BEG" GOD for anything!

Good Morning! hope you're having a good week!~ yeap!~ it is still sooooo~ Hot! I just know that this too shall pass! I said that when it gets cold~ I will NOT COMPLAIN!! Sharing "Peepers" with you this morning~ I got this little parakeet for my grandson Rowdy! He needed something that was low maintenance to care for and this was perfect!! so he now lives w/ Rowdy! I just love the little chirps that he does! I took care of him while Rowdy was gone to His moms. But anyway! girls~ I did get the teaching position in my church, and am so excited to see what God has in store for this Journey. I will be teaching a "New Christain Orientation" for elementary age! Ever since my Grands.~ accepted Christ I have been burdened that the children that accept Christ needs a little ground for some introduction to the Savior on their level!! I covet your prayers that God would use me and that this endeavor would only Glorify God, and that I will have the Wisdom that I need. Thanks for lifting me up!! Onto the last week that I have been keeping the Grands., school is starting on Monday! these kids are ready,, as well as this Nana!! LOL!! ~litterly they pretty much have been in house all summer, w/ exception of their baseball season, but the heat has been too much~ for them to get outside! My daughter went back Monday. Teachers get ready!! my Grands. will be in class on Monday!!:) but anyway hope you all are doing well, and may "Peace" be over you and your family as you start the year back to school~ and guess what?...Holidays are just around the Cornor........! Good Morning! how are you?.. well we are on the last week before school starts! for the kids that is! Teachers are in now! As my Brandi said ..UGH!!. summer came and gone, but the heat is still hanging in!! LOL! Brandi and I went shopping on Saturday for the final run of school shopping! Now~ let me say that it was absolutely crazy!! never have I seen so many people out there! I really thought it was Christmas~ and had missed it!! Just crazy!! but in spite of it we had a wonderful day:)!! bought her some cute things. but ~ on to my thoughts this morning~ first of all Thanks to all for your prayers, for Hannah.. we go this week for a CT scan! I just know that all is well! God is Good! And my Heart is really with our Teachers that are gearing back up to get started and teach our children & grandchildren~ Please pray for them as often as God brings it to your mind! Ladies~ this is an awesome responsibility with so much that they have to endure!! Also~ I will be teaching a Sunday School class this fall! @ my church. I have been really burdened about this for a while that I need to do something other than set on the pew!! Good Afternoon ladies! hope you have had a great week!! God is so Good! Just a quick post in regards to my "baby~girl!~{granddaughter}~ I have touched on her prayer needs before and here I am again requesting Prayer for Hannah! the last couple of months she has been going through some difficulty with some issues regarding her health, nothing serious but we are at the point of needing prayer for her today! She is @ her doctor's office as we speak, and the possibility of going for some neurological test this afternoon! She has been experiencing some strange symptoms that appears to be very bad panic attacks! But the other symptoms I think is naturally promoting this!! So just asking for a little extra push of prayer that we may find out what is wrong!! Thank You in advance for taking the time to pray for my baby~girl!! will let you know!!

Good Monday Morning! hope you are all staying Cool! yes~ the weather is every one's topic these days! and it has been an incredible "heat wave" that just seems that it will never end! But as we know it our calendar months says some thing different and this too shall pass! (Now~ I was just trying to be positive here!)..but can you believe it that it is time for school to start again, and as my daughter has been preparing her class room~would you know it that the air is out in her class room! So she can only stay about 2-3 hrs. at the most~ maybe this week will be better! She actually starts back next Tuesday! (full time:( ! she says ugh! to this!! LOL:). But anyway~ just trying to process the swiftly moving days and looking forward to some changes~...I have been really burdened about teaching a SS class for a while now, so I just dived right in and submitted my "Hearts Desire" to our committee, they were meeting yesterday afternoon, I have not heard anything yet! but several that I have talked with~ it was just so exciting that *God Was Already There*~ in the hearts of this committee! Ever since my Grandchildren accepted Christ at a young age it has really been a burden on my heart that these children (and others) when they accept Christ that they are just kinda left to learn on there own! (in a sense). And my heart is just saying they need to learn from the "beginning". I so covet any Prayers that I could be used in this area! Lord knows~ I have plenty more to learn even after I have been serving for 30 yrs., plus!! But it is so exciting to know that beginning from Genesis to Revelations there is a vast and I mean "BIG VAST" OF GOD'S WORD THAT IS WAITING TO BE REVEALED!! in one's heart!!:)(pause)!~THANK YOU LORD FOR YOUR WORDS OF LIFE!! PLEASE TEACH ME FIRST!~ but anyway hope you all have a week just filled with Sweet Blessings from God!, the much needed Rain, Cooler Temps! and a desire to Serve where ever HE wants YOU to BE!!

Good Morning! Happy:) August~ Already! just overwhelmed with the fast moving days and months. Hope this finds you all doing good, and surviving this Heat Wave! It seems that it is settled in and the need for rain is critical! But..~ God knows all about it and in His Time that He will shower us with abundant rain. I have been just doing a little bit of this and that, took a couple of short vacations, I guess you would call it a vacation but as I say, w/grands, just give us a hotel stay and a swimming pool and we're fine!:). Last week Daughter, and 3 of grands went to a place called "Color Me Happy", and I painted the first painting in my Life!! the theme was Kids Crosses, and I just loved it! I have always loved Art, now this is a gal that can't even draw a stick figure~ much less give me a canvas board and paint!! but I did it!! ( I have pics but naturally, can not get them on here! gotta get daughter to fix it!). But will show you soon! It was a lot of fun, and so relaxing, I think that 2 hrs., was the only "stop" moment that I have had in a long time!! LOL! But anyway, just checking in on you! and hoping that all is well with you and your families! I am working in our Church Office this week~ and need to get ready! but I just wanted to share with you my thoughts and that is for today....Lord your will be done~ NOT MINE! We can just get so busy that we just don't stop and realize that our thoughts can even be distracted, and all of a sudden you realize that Our GOD is our ultimate thought, hope, and security and His promises are always and never un~broken!! I just want to Thank Him! for His divine intervention when those moments just "p~o~p"~ up! to still me and let me just pause and realize "WHO" is speaking!! I love it!:). Good Morning! I have 2 very important blessings this morning! first~ I did not wake up with tooth ache this morning!! from this infection from a root canal! and second is that my BFF(Diana) finished her chemo treatments this week!! Yea!! I am so Thanking God for giving her the strength and Endurance to finish~ she has not had a good experience the last 4 treatments:( she told me a couple of weeks ago that she might not take the last one; I told her we will pray about it!; she is finished!! Also just reminding every one that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month~ I know it seems a bit early to remind you~but Oct. will be here soooooon!! Please give it some thought and schedule your Appt. for those Mammograms! early....and I found out that it is usually half price the month of October!! that's another Yea!! and a "Huge Blessing" for the ones w/ no Insurance! Why?..pay 3 or 4 hundred when you can pay $150.00!! OK~ just the first reminder!! Hope you all have a wonderful week~end! and please DO NOT forget to "PRAISE" THE ONE THAT GIVES US "LIFE" AND EVERY BLESSING TO E~N~J~O~Y:)

Good Evening! just to say Thank You for praying for my tooth! I am feeling a little better today! I have been to the dentist so far every day this week! The infection from the root canal tooth settled in my jaw bone! Whoa~ I have never had this to happen, have been on strong doses of antibiotics! but to say I have not felt good at all! but this to will pass! I am scheduled for Monday to re-do the Root Canal! (ouch)!! I have just told dentist everyday~ just look at it~ do Not touch!! But Thanks again, for your sweet comments and prayers! Maybe 1 or 2 more prayers wouldn't hurt either! especially on Monday!! LOL:)....but anyway have missed the 2 grands (Kyle & Rowdy's) base ball playoff games, due to just not feeling up to it! but they are winners in my world anyway!! LOL! Good Morning! Wow! ~ do you loose track of time?..I find myself going to the calendar to see what date it is! I cannot keep up with the fast moving days! But anyway~ God is good~... Girls~ I have been dealing with an incrediable tooth problem, and all it has done is hurt!! I went for my regular cleaning about 3 wks., ago and discovered I had an abcess~ a few days of meds., and a root canal has been done! Untill....last Sat., morning and I woke up with a throbbing pain, babied it all week-end and went to dentist yesterday morning! I mean this thing has been ugly:( I just do not ask for pain meds but I did yesterday! Dentist said it was not the root canal one! I said yes it is! He said it was the one behind it~ now ladies I have a tendency to aurgue(ouch)!! but left there got more antibiotics and pain med., and slept better last night. Please say a "prayer" over this tooth!! I have a very bad infection that has gone into my jaw! going back to dentist today for a little shot of antibiotics. Thank You for the prayers!! But anyway~ God is so good! ~ before this little blow-up, last week Brandi and I and 2 grands, left for a couple of days and played!! we went to Grapevine and walked the Mall, ate @ "Rainforest Cafe", took kids to chucky cheeze for games!, floated in pool, took Kyle to Bass Pro Shop, on the way home stopped in Mesquite and did some school shopping, and ate at Joe's Crab shack for dinner!! It was really good! YUMMY! Hope you are having a wonderful summer:) and I mean HOT SUMMER!! Please when you "pray" for my tooth~ include "RAIN" AS WELL!! oK~ brought you up to date w/ my stuff!! Have a great day:). and "Praise The One that gives us LIFE"!!

Good Morning! hope your week has been a good one! Already July?... and it's time to make this! (Yummy:)! our VBS was last week, and I rocked babies! I just fell in Love~!! with those sweet ones! The theme was a beach setting, and all of the teachers did wonderful job with decorations; and I believe that it was said that 8 children accepted Christ! I just love this because it quickly reminds me of the scripture...(Matthew 18:2-3), that we all must come as little children. Good Morning! have you been busy?.. wow~ I just don't know but it seems that every waking minute there is something to do! My grands have finished baseball games, and now on to play offs! they all 4 made it ~ That will start in a couple of weeks! Good Job~ Grands! I will be on the fields again!
now onto latest update on my church for the Mission trip to Africa... over 10,000 was saved and 10 churches started! Can you give God just Praise, Praise, Praise!! They returned to Texas yesterday!! Thank You Lord!! and to say the least we have another team that is getting ready to leave to go to Malawi! so~ just to say~ GOD IS ALREADY THERE!
Also girls I finally got a new car yesterday! now~ can I get a WHOO~ YOOH!! for this Blessing!! Yes~Lord~ Yes!! Thank You~ Lord!! Maybe I can finally put that wreck behind me and move on~ I am still paranoid about driving. People make me nervous...and especially in this new car! I will just have to pray longer and harder:). but anyway just some up-dates from my neck of the woods! and BTW~ thanks for your prayers for my Hannah~ all of her intense blood work came back normal~ but there is more testing to come! Keep her close to your Heart in prayer! Hope you all have a Safe, Happy:) and Blessed Wk~end!! Praise and Thank The "ONE" that gives us LIFE! He is WORTHY of our PRAISE!

Good Morning! Prayers answered~ we had the most awesome rain shower this morning! Thank you Lord! It's just Tuesday, what have you got planned for the week?..It will go so fast..I'm keeping the two grandson's this week, and we have to stay busy!..I am going to the dentist this morning and then meeting up with daughter, with the other 2 and taking them for pizza, and then to a movie!
Going to see Mr. Poppers Penguins. So that is schedule for today. BTW~ I'm not sure if I shared with you that a team of 10, from my church has been in Africa for missionary trip, and word from our pastor via~ FB~ that about 8000 has been saved, and 8 churches have been started!! Girls~ this has been such exciting news for our church!! We can't wait to hear what the rest of the week holds for their mission!! Please Praise God with me~ for we serve an Awesome God, and our minds just cannot conceive the wonders of HIM!! He just wants to hear our PRAISES!! And also I need to give you a Prayer Request~ for my G.Daughter(Hannah). Please at this time we need Prayers for Healing! I will share later. just PRAY! Good Morning! Sending my wishes to all the Dads out there for a Happy:) Fathers Day! And of course this comes with precious memories of my own Dad, I love and miss him! On to my thoughts this morning~ girls~ have you ever just felt like that you have "failed the test?"... I just will pause and say that missing the mark sometimes brings one to think will I ever feel restored?... But I do know that God says..I will never leave or forsake you! the past few weeks has been so frustrating, and people I have failed the test more than once!(ouch)!! I am not proud of my actions! not making light of this topic, God has been faithful, and I am the one that has allowed {Satan} to get me!(ouch! again)!! On the way home last night from granddaughter's ball game....there was the "still small voice"....and said.."Kay you have had a "haughty attitude"! I said no..I am just taking possession of my rights!..he said NO! you have been very "HAUGHTY". I said but Lord...these people have just aggravated me and I have a right...to just let them know it!! and God said "you have some apologizing to do"! As I began to process God's word in my heart, I had to start with Praying! Now~ the scripture came to me very quickly was...my words are sharper than a two edged sword..and my word will not return" VOID"! Oh~my! here I go again..just realizing that I have the "Victory" that God forgives me even when I fail the test! Just ASK! is all that is required, plus follow up with what He said to do..So~ I will do what I must do and ask "Forgiveness"! Ladies~ I am just going to tell you that when God Talks..we must listen for I AM SO "GRATEFUL" THAT HIS VOICE COMES TO ME , I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT HIS CONVERSATIONS! I AM SO HAPPY:) THAT HE TALKS TO ME!! {even when i am so stubborn}!

No matter what may be going on in our lives we must keep on~ and swim~ or walk through it! but not without Jesus...the thing or things that may seem to go on and on~ but our journey is to endure and Trust God to bring us through. When Satan tries to wear you out, GOD says "I will strengthen YOU, I AM your Strong Hold"! What more POWER do we Need?...We are already e*quipped with that POWER!! So~ today activate the Power with~in~ Claim It, Prove It, Believe It, and Trust It, to be all that you need to Keep Swimming! Have a "COOL" Day!

I just got a call from my insurance on my car and final adjustment was 11,000.00 in damage! I was shocked! but underneath the frame got bent when the motorcycle crashed into me! but ~ I am still Praising God for HIS protection! Good Afternoon~ just a quick Hi! and say it's time to go pick these little berries! I finished up all my little bags from last summer a few months ago~ and my adult children are wanting a blueberry cobbler~ already!
I told them that it takes several hands to fill one of those little baskets up. Daughter said she would go, guys did not say anything! LOL! but they love the cobblers! Go~figure! But we will be going here in the next week or so! A new tradition for us! Love it tho:). Hope you all are having a great day, I have had at least 2 of grands this week, so kinda been going around in circles to get anything done! Have managed to do better today! Took Kyle and Hannah to donut shop for breakfast! and have not stopped since I got home. Baseball tonight, I've missed some games last week, but need to go see Kyle play tonight. the other 3 tomorrow, not sure which one I will go see..... Have a wonderful evening!! Just need to offer Praise in closing, God Is So Good!!

"Nose Diving" into the "Journey"~ of a lot of questions.....

Good Morning! well~I think it is still the morning hour! I have started the process of the journey...with Insurance Co., this has to be done all by phone..talked to Co. about 9, this morning, gave her all kind of info., she told me another would call me, just got off phone with that one and now this one says that at least 3 more will contact me in regards to this car accident last Thursday! I hope all of that did not make you tired! LOL!! But you know God is so Good, and this to shall pass! To God Be the Glory for Great Things He Has Done! I am so Thankful to be able to give all the info., that they need:)))))...and lots and lots of it! After I hit the car that pulled out in front of me, and then the second crash came a few seconds later, Everyone was telling me that the man on the motorcycle jumped off of it before it crashed into my car! I just get so" jittery" just trying to tell the scene! but things can be replaced...and I was not seriously injured....but the "what ifs" are still lingering! The message that my pastor spoke Sunday summed it all up...Very simple..yet profound! Make everyday count.. Your life is just a vapor, please make it count for the Godly things every moment, every second, because we just never know... Thank You Jesus for your protection! I will sing of your Praises! Hope you all have a safe and happy:) day!!

Good Morning! Wow! ladies have you ever heard the saying..."Mama said that there would be days like this?" Well that was my day yesterday..when it started to unfold it just kept on and on with happenings that was very stressful! But Praise God, He kept me and let me handle it all, and when I fell into bed last night I was one weary gal! It's been a slow moving for me this morning but I had to decide that yesterday is over, and this is a new day! And I am up moving from washing rugs to vacuuming, changing sheets, and fixing to bath my dogs! this is" busby", and I haven't had a chance to take pic of my new addition.".BRUISER". My son bought me a{ "little} handful of a dog!, He will be about a 4 pounder! I am so attached to my new grand~dog!! Will show you soon! But anyway just stopping by to wish you all a very Happy:) and Blessed Day and Praying all is safe from the storms!! Love and Blessings! for a Day that God has Made:)

Good Monday Morning! just reflecting on the week-end! hope you all had a happy:) one. I finally got some" stuff done"! yes~ that has put on the back burner, again~ but finished painting the bathroom touch-ups after new shower and tub that was installed a few weeks ago~ cleaned up an extra bed-room, that has to be finished painting~ it kinda just was all of a sudden the catch-all for everything! Took a big bag of trash to street this morning!! Now~ this morning I have to prepare for Bunk-O, tonight! I think I am just going to get pizza, make a salad, and the new dessert that is the latest rave~ Oreo Cupcakes! OK~ what do you think?... will let you know the fun:) we had!! So~ just REFLECTING on my week-end, that I so enjoyed just staying at home and doing my thing!! Feel so much better...with just a "little" that was accomplished!! Thank You Lord! for the added strength that you provided for me!! Also...[ before I close please pray for my 2 SIL's, Linda and Millie have lost their Mom's in less than a week apart.] Hope you all have a Glory~Filled day and reflect on the Lord Jesus Christ and all that He has done!!

Oh ~ what a Savior! that He is encircling the earth, watching...But,~ as we have been equipped with all the Faith that we need, and that is just Resting in the Almighty Truth and Reading God's word and it will assure you and me that He IS IN CONTROL! and that when His Appearance is to be we will not Fear..but Rejoice in His Coming! "Wait" ~ and " See!"

Good Morning! A few days ago I mentioned that as soon as I could get these pictures to download I wanted to share with you something that just excited me so! Well~ here is proof that it happened! this was the neatest visual thing that happened right before my eyes~ my daughter who is a 2nd grade teacher has done this for her class every year, so she brought me the set up and let me witness the miracle~ in pic 1) is the small beginning, pic 2) 2-3 wks., later formed and waiting! pic 3) about 2 wks., later... went to look for something in room, happened to focus on this...pic 4) Whola!~ a huge butterfly hanging on screen, it's little wings were flapping..I just opened the lid and out He flew, into my kitchen and rested on the blind! This was the sweetest most amazing thing that I have ever saw! I was so excited to watch this process and it just kinda refreshed me in the wonders of Christ! Only and Only Him can make this happen! So today~ make a Miracle Happen In "Trusting and Believing" that He is the Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Anchor, Bright Morning Star, The Resurrection and The Life, and The Way, The Truth and the Life!

Good Afternoon! Hope you have had a good day today! Just got word that my sister-in-laws mother passed away just a couple of hours ago! My heart is sad for her; for my Heart knows what an empty feeling that this brings! I love you "Apple"( this was her nickname) and we will miss you~( this is what everybody called this lady). My sister and I are going to try to get an "Apple Tree" for Linda to plant in memory of her Mom. but anyway just sharing my thought for a minute~ and if you would please be in prayer for my Family beginning about 1:00 PM, on Wednesday! For what is taking place will be a life changing expierence for us! Our Families personal prayer is that God's Will be done~ not ours! in this situation! Thank You for standing in the G.A.P. {God Answers Prayer}~ once again for us!

A "sweet face" wrapped with a Request?...

Happy Saturday Morning! Question?...Have you ever tried to lay down and just could not get something off your mind?..and then all through the night ever time you woke up..there the thought was still lingering! Well, last night before I went to bed I had a message on my FB page, it was a request from my BFF, Diana's Daughter to pray for her mother! She had gone for her chemo treatment on Wednesday of this week and had a reaction to 1 of the most important meds., for the treatment, in fact last month she had a reaction as well! Now~ with a second reaction she can no longer have this medication. So~ with this information of course the "HUMAN" kicks in... and begins to question?..what is going to happen? Lord~ she needs this particular med...Please Help! So~ there again I felt the impending thoughts on and off all night! But I know that I must shake it off, and again return to the "ONE" that knows all about it! But Please pray with me and Michelle, on Diana's behalf! this day! I know Michelle will be so Happy:) to know that others are "Standing in the GAP"! {God Answers Prayers}~ for her Mom!
PS~ I chose this cute little pic.to go with this post, due to the fact that Diana is a very big advocate for Animals! She is a rescuer! of any and all animals!

Happy:) Wednesday Morning! coffee was good this morning! And I am here to just let you know that I want to settle a "Rumor" that I heard yesterday Morning, no doubt it was on a talk show! But "GOD'S WORD" said it , and that settles it! I have heard over the past few years that God was coming back at various times and dates, the latest is May 21, 2011; girls~ that is just a few days away!! Am I ready?...Are you ready?... I will say that I am ready...but I was happy to hear one of the ladies on this show quoted God's word..yes she did! I don't think I have ever heard this before! WoW! there is somebody...that had a right direction to swing us to~ the final Answer! And that is...

Matthew 24:36..
NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT THAT DAY OR HOUR, NOT EVEN THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN, NOR THE SON, BUT ONLY THE FATHER. {NIV}.

And God's word goes on to tell us a few verses down...
Matthew 24:42..
THEREFORE KEEP WATCH, BECAUSE YOU DO NOT KNOW ON WHAT DAY YOUR LORD WILL COME. {NIV}.
Now, I choose to believe this very direct answer to all of the" Rumors" that people get started and run wild and just simply not educated on the Facts!

Good Tuesday Morning! Ladies I do not want to complain about anything! but this morning I just want to vent on one of my pet peeves! The baseball season is in full swing~ I have all 4 of these on a field all week! I am trying to work on my schedule so that I can watch them play~ and not wear myself out! On to my thought this morning about these games and how parents act! I do not want to hurt any ones feelings but I have already saw some parents really act up enough that it just makes you not even want to go. These parents "scream and belittle" their child in front of every one, and I just wonder if the child can really hear them, for their sakes I hope they can't! And to top it all off, some parents scream profanity at the umpires, for making a bad call! Just so you will know ~ what I think that your child sees and hears is that their parent is not showing what the kids are taught and that is a good attitude" win or lose"! You know I want to relate this to Christ in some way and that is I think, what ever and where ever that our actions must reflect Christ! if one professes to be a Christan. Please for the sake of your child display actions that speak to them and then it will spill over to the audience! so~ if we all want to support, love, and cheer on our child make it words of encouragement! For this Pleases God!

Good Monday Morning! Hope your Mothers Day was Special:) of course mine was! These are a couple of Happy:) Plants that my Grands brought me! Rowdy the orange one, and Hannah the pretty little decorated pot! She loves to decorate~ It is so colorful and fun! Kacey and Kyle got me the cutest little Piggy Bank! It is a blinged up Purse one. I love piggy banks. And the sweet cards, one that even sang to me...It sings a very upbeat song..it says..You're simply the best, Better than all the Rests....! I loved the day with my family! We had a wonderful meal, chicken and dressing, black eyed peas, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a Frito bean salad. Dessert was Mexican chocolate cake and banana pudding! Now was all of this such a Blessing?! You bet! God is so Good, and He Blesses me so that it is hard to name all of the "Rich" Blessings that He gives me! I Love My Lord, and I Love my Family! (pause) ... let me just say.. Thank You Lord Jesus! You are the Best! and will always be the one that I "Pause" and give Thanks to! Oh! I forgot, my son-in-law worked on my little flower garden, he cleaned it out, planted a couple of plants, and put mulch down! this is his talent, he does a good job! thanks!! Kevin! (I still have things you can do!!) hope you all have a wonderful, happy:) and Blessed week, just Thanking the "One" that gives us Life! and so much more!!

Happy Saturday Morning! Well~ I had a Play Day yesterday~ I went to Tyler and shopped! Had a wonderful lunch @ the Olive Garden, and finished it off with a delicious cup of strawberry/banana yogurt ice cream on the way home! Hope you are having a fun week-end thus far! This is a "Special Tribute" not only to my Mother but my Dad as well. Today they would have been celebrating their 65th Wedding Anniversary. I am filled with emotions this morning as I cannot believe how so much time as passed and we are already at this place in time that loosing both of them 11 months apart, she has been gone 6yrs, he 7yrs! I don't think I sometimes I really ever stopped to Grieve like I probably needed to! But I just believe that I was really so covered with that Amaz*ing Grace during that time~ because really the last year of my Dad's life was plummeting fast, and after my Dad died, my Mom's last year was very down hill, I really believe that, even tho, she had Alzheimer's, she so sensed that something was wrong and she missed my dad! For 7 yrs., He went to the Nursing Home 3 times a day to check on her! But after all this being relived God has allowed me to just "Stop" and know that He has had me covered and that I can relive the most precious memories of them both time after time! I was very close to both of them and me and Mom was best friends as well! She encouraged me in my early years of being a wife and a Young Mother as well! Her words of "Just Trust in the Lord" as become very strong in my own Heart! So today with my parents on my Heart and Mind~ I will just say...Mom, I Love and Miss You... and Dad I so miss your wonderful little gardens and fresh stuff, that your hands dropped in the ground..but I know and feel safe that both of you are rejoicing this day~ in Heaven! Dad ,you are not sick, and Mom I know that your Memory as been Restored! What more could this Heart want?..for both of You! I love and miss you~ indescribably~ Happy:) Mothers Day Mom~ and Happy:) Anniversary to You and Dad!

Todays Forecast!~ "God" Reighns & The "Son" Shines!

Good Morning! Whew...my head is swirling with thoughts this morning! And I am so happy:) that God's word is a live and well in my soul! As I was coming back this morning from taking my grand son to school, I heard 2 songs that will never grow old in the test of time and they were..THE OLD RUGGED CROSS, AND GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS. And you know what~ if the Cross was never a part of the Plan?...where would we be?....which brings us to His Faithfulness! You see the Plan was Perfect, all at the divinely appointed time. and with just that being said, He sits encircling the Earth~ He keeps us~ protects us~ with His Love! I am feeling extraordinary~ Joyful~ this morning with just knowing that His Plan included me! And that there is nothing that God misses or disposes of no matter what may come in the day! I am so very grateful to have a "Relationship" that is personal ~ {one~ on~ one} that I don't have to include anybody or anything, just run to Him with whatever! He cares about everything that concerns YOU! Is that not the most Glorious Excitement to just REST! in those thoughts...and...Promises!
